The training will deliver on strategies and capacity to prepare effectively for consultancy opportunities. Practitioners will save time in developing winning proposals by responding more precisely to the requirements of the tender calls and only invest time in opportunities with best chances of winning. The workshops will serve as a platform to exchange knowledge, learning and experiences about issuing and responding to EOI in the evaluation and consultancy field.

Key Objectives:

  • To identify effective ways research and evaluation can be commissioned and utilized for evidence- based policy making, funding, and action
  • Promote innovation in EOI responding approaches, strategies and methodologies to leverage on winning bids
  • To enhance practitioner’s capacity to identify relevant opportunities and responding effectively

Workshop themes and Delivery

The workshop will be delivered virtually through Zoom video conference platform. Participants will be required to have reliable internet connection and be in a convenient and quite place for the entire duration of the workshop (3 hours). In order to maximize the learning and sharing opportunity for everyone, the virtual workshop will employ several engagement techniques including requiring ALL participants to contribute in virtual discussions and feedback. Full instructions and details of workshop schedule will be provided to all registered participants 24 hours before the Workshop. All participants will be requested to share their learning expectations before start of the workshop. A range of complementary delivery methods will be used including presentations, practice sessions with real examples and other participatory methods. All participants will have an opportunity to engage fully and test the application of knowledge in real practice example. A feedback loop will be created throughout the workshop to adapt strategies along the way and deliver the best possible learning experiences for everyone.
