I am an ardent proponent of an inclusive development evaluation landscape in Zimbabwe, and beyond. I believe that age, just like gender, should be given equal consideration as far as voice and opportunities in the evaluation space are concerned. In addition to helping fostering the culture of evaluation in Zimbabwe, I consider my participation in the ZEA board to be critically pivotal in championing the will of the YEEs. Given the necessary resources, mentoring & space, I believe we can harness the vast untapped potential within the YEEs and enable them to fully partake in the evaluation of policies and programs that impact them. My conviction exudes from being a product of the very setup myself. I was mentored and groomed through Evalyouth.  I therefore see myself as a perfect link between my fellow YEEs and the experienced evaluators in ZEA.

I possess verifiable robust quantitative and qualitative evaluation skills which can be exploited to the benefit of my peers. Building on my educational training and mentoring exposure, I have acquired significant consultancy experience in research design and evaluation of wildlife, agriculture, livelihoods, environment, education and renewable energy programs for organizations like UNDP, WWF, EA, ZADT, Higherlife etc.   I am conversant with a myriad of statistical packages (including SPSS, STATA, R & QGIS) and different field methods including facilitating focus group discussions and key informant interviews, conducting Participatory Rapid Appraisal (PRA) and Case Studies, coordinating longitudinal surveys, facilitating After Action Reviews (AAR) and conducting document reviews. I also design tablet or mobile-based data collection setups (including ODK & CAPI).
