The Zimbabwe Evaluation Association (ZEA) carried out a situation analysis of evaluation practice in Zimbabwe. Data was collected over five weeks during the months (October – November 2018).

The study aimed at:

  1. Identifying who conducts and who commissions evaluations,
  2. Assessing skills among practitioners,
  3. Identifying types of evaluation conducted,
  4. Examining the factors that drive the production and utilization of evaluations and recommending individual and institutional capacity development interventions.
